Principal’s Message

Welcome to Canadian Higher Learning Academy! Reaching your highest academic potential is our mission, and we are committed to building a learning experience that is unique and personal to each of our students. CHLA’s foundation is based off of the understanding that each student learns at their own pace and with their own preferred learning style. At Canadian Higher Learning Academy, we provide education through a platform most suitable for the 21st century work place, in order to prepare students for a future that is very different from 10 years ago. Our online school provides ministry approved and accredited courses which hold the same merit and quality of any other high school in Ontario. Our teachers are OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) certified or equivalent, and our method of education allows students to ensure they completely understand the material before moving on, or speed through any material that comes easily.

To students, I ask that you reflect on your goals and strive to pursue personal excellence. Your commitment will result in increased academic performance. Know that I am here to support and encourage you as you explore different possibilities and grow as learners.

To parents, we believe that your involvement is an essential component to the academic success of your child. I encourage you to visit our website often, get in touch with your child’s teacher, and to get engaged in all that Canadian Higher Learning Academy has to offer.

We look forward to having you join Canadian Higher Learning, and wish you every success at our school as well as your post-secondary aspirations. A brighter future begins here!

Students have direct access to all of their course material, with each lesson/topic/unit stating the approximate time commitment, learning goals, and curriculum expectations. Moodle is the standard for many online schools and is used by several Canadian universities to operate online courses.
