We believe strongly in the notion that every person has the right to quality education. This is what makes CHLA a popular choice for online schooling. CHLA provides education to any willing student through an online environment. By utilizing an online learning system, students are given the ability to complete courses and earn Canadian education credits in the comfort of their own home.
Our history
The groundwork for CHLA was started by its current principal Indi Sahi in 2011. Starting with just 5 students and a staff of 3 people, CHLA has quickly grown to one of the largest online schools in Ontario. Over the last 3 years, CHLA has expanded internationally with students attending from all over the world. More recently, CHLA has merged with Futures Canadian College to give its students a pathway to post-secondary education. In 2019, CHLA moved into its brand new 25,000 square foot office in Mississauga, Ontario. We at CHLA are very proud of the progress we have made, and we look forward to you being a part of our growth.

We have invested heavily in providing students with an experience unlike any other online school. From the moment a student enrols into CHLA, all the way to when they complete their course, CHLA support staff is there to help them every step of the way.
A message from the Principal
Welcome to Canadian Higher Learning Academy! Reaching your highest academic potential is our mission, and we are committed to building a learning experience that is unique and personal to each of our students.
CHLA’s foundation is based off of the understanding that each student learns at their own pace and with their own preferred learning style. At Canadian Higher Learning Academy, we provide education through a platform most suitable for the 21st century workplace. In order to prepare students for a future that is very different from 10 years ago. Our online school provides ministry approved and accredited courses which hold the same merit and quality of any other high school in Ontario. Our teachers are OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) certified or equivalent, and our method of education allows students to ensure they completely understand the material before moving on, or speed through any material that comes easily.
To students, I ask that you reflect on your goals and strive to pursue personal excellence. Your commitment will result in increased academic performance. Know that I am here to support and encourage you as you explore different possibilities and grow as learners.
