Each student’s situation is different; it is because of this we accept our students on a case by case basis.
Each student who submits an application must go through the following procedure:
1) Students need to send all recent report cards/ full transcripts and a photo copy of their Passport to admissions@chlacademy.ca
2) This information is reviewed by our Admissions Team.
3) The criteria required for further processing is based on the age of the applicant, the amount of education completed as well as their academic standing.
4) An interview is then scheduled with the Principal of CHLA
5) During this interview the Principal will conduct an oral assessment of the student’s ability to speak English.
6) The Principal/Agent will provide a written English assignment to the student to complete.
7) Upon a successful review of this assignment the Principal will conduct the equivalency process to determine how many courses a student will need to receive their diploma.
8) For successful applicants, an Offer of Acceptance will be issued. Students will be given 2.5 weeks to decide before their application becomes invalid.
9) Students who wish to re-apply will be required to begin the process from the beginning.
